This
is something I do for fun. Mostly, I just enjoy the
guitars, the music and everything that goes with it! I became an
authorized Peavey dealer in late 2004 with the sole purpose of dealing with
the Custom Shop guitars. I have sold well over 100 HP Special guitars
on this site as a Peavey dealer in the past couple years.
ALL guitars include the original hardshell case and are NEW with
warranty unless otherwise noted.

I will ship internationally. Shipping to most international
destinations in Europe and other areas runs between $100 and $150 ninety
percent of the time.
Update
07-21-17: After ending production of the HP Special in 2010
and discontinuing guitar production in the U.S. Peavey has now announced a
new guitar (built in MS) called the HP2. It is essentially a Wolfgang with
HP Special electronics (coil tap pick-ups). It doesn't have a Dtuna but is
set up so that one can be easily added. It was introduced at the summer NAMM
show (July 11-13). Right now it comes in an arch top version only. It comes
in 10 colors. 8 are flame tops and the other two are black and ivory. It
comes in a tremolo and stop tail version. The stop tail and trem price are
the same (list price of $2,499). I have placed my first order for 10 of them
that I will list on the site at $1,999 (lowest I am allowed to list them
for) when they arrive. Right now orders are expected to be 90 days out, thus
I am expecting them at the end of October. Contact me if you want to order
one and about pricing. There are no custom orders being accepted at this
time by Peavey.

Peavey HP Special Video Demo (This

The new USA made,
Peavey HP2 guitar is essentially a top of the line arch top Wolfgang
(cosmetically the same) with HP Special electronics (HP Special coil tap
pick-ups). The HP2 doesn't have a Dtuna but it is set up so that it can
be easily added. The guitar is being offered in a tremolo and stop tail
bridge option. It comes in 10 colors, 8 of which are flame tops. The
other two are black and ivory (no top and are less expensive). The flame
top colors are Cyan, Wine Red, Tobacco Burst, Cherry Burst, Trans Moon
Burst, Deep Ocean Blue, Tiger Eye & Amber.

'08 HP Special Dark Cherryburst CT Quilt Top

This is new old stock
(NOS) discovered by Peavey in a warehouse in June of 2012. They
offered this to me along with one other they found. It is a very nice
dark cherryburst quilt top CT. The body is basswood. The
neck and fretboard are birdseye maple. The headstock is matching and the
hardware chrome.
As with all the rest
of the HP Specials listed here, this guitar is new and comes with a full
Peavey warranty, Peavey hardshell case and paperwork. Shipping is

is a custom shop amber flame top I didn't realize I had in my inventory.
I just found it looking for something else. It has a basswood body
and a beautiful birdseye neck and fretboard.
This guitar features
Peavey's dual compression stop tail/string thru bridge. The
hardware is chrome and the back of the body painted the standard gloss
black.

This is a classic
solid mahogany CT (arch top)stop tail. It has the dual compression
stop tail, string-thru bridge. The neck/fretboard are birdseye
maple, the hardware chrome and the headstock matching. The dark
mark on the neck is from the case and is no longer there. The
picture got taken before it got removed.

'07 One of a kind HP Special FT Prototype (new)

This is a one of kind
prototype. It is new old stock that was discovered in a warehouse
in June of 2012 and offered to me by Peavey. They played it
internally to try it but that is it. It is a solid basswood flat
top with a finished neck, which is the only one I am aware of like this.
It is loaded with a special magnet loaded pick-up version wire up like a
Les Paul or 2 volume, 2 tone. It was the ONLY one built like this.
The pick-ups are Alnico Slugs w/Formvar wire (rare).
As with all the rest
of the HP Specials listed here, this guitar is new (other than as noted
above) and comes with a full
Peavey warranty, Peavey hardshell case and paperwork. Shipping is

This is root beer color
quilt top with the string-thru stop tail bridge. The body is a
mahogany with a beautiful transparent finish. The neck and
fretboard are birdseye maple, the binding natural, the hardware chrome
and the headstock matching.
